Joanna Brinton
Joanna worked with us on the ‘Sculpting Saltram’ project with Efford’s Crazy Glue group.

Joanna Brinton lives and works London + Plymouth. Is an associate artist, Plymouth University, 2014-15, MA Book Arts with Distinction, Camberwell College of Art, 2013, BA Fine Art, Central St Martins College of Art and Design, 2001.

Joanna works with print, sculpture and people as part of a research-based practice that draws connections between current and historical events and objects. She is concerned with an object’s potential to function as a disobedient, or disorderly interruption to everyday life and also as a symbol for our desire to control. She has undertaken print and education projects for contemporary galleries including Whitechapel, South London Gallery, Camden Arts Centre and Plymouth City Council.
